Pine Tree Veterinary Hospital

Your First Visit

Thank you for choosing Pine Tree Veterinary Hospital for your animal's health care needs. We look forward to meeting you and your pet. Together, we'll make sure he/she stays healthy and happy throughout their life.

Before your first visit, please gather any previous medical or adoption records you may have for your pet. The doctors need this information to get an accurate record of your pet's medical history and to create the best treatment plan for your pet.

When you visit the hospital, please bring your pet in a carrier or on a leash. This will prevent any incidents with other animals that may also be in the lobby.

When it is time for your appointment, one of our veterinary assistants/technicians will escort you and your pet to an exam room where she will ask you some questions regarding your visit. Measurements of weight and body temperature, and a quick overall check of your pet might happen at this time as well.

When one of our doctors examines your pet, she will take the time to listen and ask questions so she can understand your concerns. She will also perform a full physical examination of your pet - checking their eyes, ears, mouth, joints, skin/coat, and listening to their heart - and will ask you questions about habits and activities.

We are excited about meeting you and your animal companion. We will always strive to provide the level of care that you both deserve.

Should you have any questions about your upcoming visit or procedure, please do not hesitate to call us.

Pine Tree Veterinary Hospital also offers technician appointments for procedures that do not involve a doctor. They can include, but are not limited to: follow up diagnostics, post-surgical checks, cold laser therapy, nail trims, and vaccinations. Pets are taken into the treatment area by a staff member, while their owners wait in the lobby.

Technician appointments can be easily scheduled with our receptionist staff for existing clients with pets that are current on their annual exam.
