Appointment Policy

Pine Tree Veterinary Hospital strives to meet all the medical needs of our patients including routine appointments as well as emergencies during normal business hours.

If you have an emergency, an advance phone call will help us be prepared for your pet's arrival. We make every effort to see patients at their scheduled time. However, life threatening emergencies can disrupt our appointment schedule and cause unavoidable delays.

If your pet has been under the care of another veterinarian, advance preparation helps make the most of your appointment time. Please have your records faxed to us and request that any x-rays be sent to us. We should receive these at least one day prior to your appointment so our doctors have time to review them. Also, please bring with you any medications and supplements your pet is currently taking.

Payment Policy

We require full payment at the time of service and deposits for hospitalized patients. Acceptable forms of payment include Visa®, MasterCard®, Discover®, American Express®, cash, personal checks and CareCredit®. If you require financing, we recommend you apply for CareCredit® online prior to your visit - please click on the image below to access their website.

Patient Arrival Policy

We request that your pet be confined by a leash or carrier at all times during the hospital visit. This is necessary for the safety of both patients and clients as well as the sanitation of our environment.

You will be asked to fill out forms about yourself and your pet prior to your appointment. It can save time if these forms are filled out in advance and emailed to us. Forms can be found here.

Grooming Procedures and Boarding

We strongly recommend annual exams on all patients. However, grooming procedures including nail trims, sanitary clips, beak and wing trims for all patients is allowed without an exam. Even for routine grooming procedures we will at least take a current weight on the patient. If at anytime we are concerned with the health of the patient, we may decline any grooming procedures until an exam can be done. This is meant solely for the safety of the patient. Pine Tree is not a boarding facility. Medical boarding for current cat and exotic patients is accepted if other options are not available.
